iPhone 4 pricing plans at a glance

Post image for iPhone 4 pricing plans at a glance

Like in 2009 when we did a price comparison of the three Telcos’ offering of iPhone 3GS, we have put those data for iPhone 4 in Google Docs for a quick comparison.

Based on past experience, this won’t be the final price of the iPhone 4. We will probably see changes as the days go when the other two Telcos start announcing their plans – it will be a fun ride!

Here’s the direct link to the comparison

Do let us know via comments or twitter if there are new plans being announced.

SIngtel’s mid tier plan only comes with 200 min talktime, compared to 300 min for SH and M1. That’s a pretty sneaky move, especially since they are charging the same price as M1.

How did you calculate the total cost over 2 years? 24*monthly_subscription + handset cost?
If so, the numbers look wrong…

I think the calculation for the “Total cost over 2 yrs” is not correct. For example, SingTel’s iFlexi Lite plan for the iPhone 4 32GB model should be (39 x 24) + 620 = $1,556

Also, I think Singtel comes with free caller ID but M1 does not. Not sure about Starhub. So your 2 yr cost must include the caller ID fees too.

I just checked SingTel’s price plans. The Voice credit is for incoming calls? They don’t offer all day free incoming calls? Any free mins for outgoing calls then?

Ok I just called SingTel. Incoming calls are still free all day, the Voice credit is for outgoing calls, as per normal.

Anybody knows if there is still $100 off if I number-port from Singtel to Starhub, and use corporate plan to get 20% discount off the $58 monthly subscription (Smartsurf 300)?
