WorldCard giveaway

Remember sometime back we reviewed the WorldCard Mobile iPhone app -

To start, you just need to snap a photo of the namecard, or retrieved photos of cards taken earlier. Then just let the app works its magic. The character recognition on the WorldCard mobile app is quite impressive. I’ve tried two cards so far and have gotten 90% success rates! The only misspelling I’ve seen was mistaking a “l” for an “i”. While checking the correctness of the scanned data, you can even go back to the image, and manually select the area to tag to the correct data. Once that is done, you can save it in your iPhone as a new entry, or to append to an existing entry.

Well those guys at PenPower Inc has just updated the WorldCard Mobile app to be iOS4 compatible and also with the following features:

Storyboy presents The Nurse with the Red Clown Nose (Giveaway included!)

Place an iPhone in a child’s hands, and chances are that nine out of ten will figure out how it works almost immediately. Having suitable apps that will keep their attention will definitely come in useful for parents, sort of like an electronic-pacifier. The good folks at SkyVu Pictures have come up with the perfect solution: the Storyboy – a series of interactive storybook apps that combine interesting short stories with colorful animation and engaging narration. They have currently more than 20 book apps available in the App Stores that appeal to kids from ages 1 to 7. They also started on iPad development.

Some Fashion iPhone apps [Giveaway]

So. For the past few months, you have been hearing two men wax lyrical about Apple. It’s been all about performance and hardware and testosterone talk in general. Well, it’s going to change a little now.

If it’s not obvious enough, I am a girl and I love my iPhone and my MacBook, which I had named Ingrid. The iPhone is Isabella, by the way. I use my iPhone quite differently from the way my husband does. As someone who loves fashion and is constantly trying to get up to date on what’s happening on the catwalk and on the streets, I find that my iPhone has become handy for those pockets of time when I have nothing to do.
