Mac App store coming – Jan 6

Apple just announced that the Mac App Store will open on Jan 6. Following the success of the iOS app store in iTunes, the Mac App store, which was announced back in October during the revealing of OS X Lion, will hope to match the success on the desktop. For once we won’t be left behind as the Mac App store will be available in 90 countries on launch day.

Let’s hope developers, who will get 70% of the sales revenue, will hop onto the Mac App store and deliver more Mac apps to us come Jan 6.

Back to School promo ending soon

Just a reminder that there are two more days before the Back To School promotion ends … on 8 September. In case you aren’t aware, this promotion lets you buy an iPod touch for “free” together with any Mac purchases (note – Mac mini not included).
