Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference is happening tomorrow at the Moscone Center in San Francisco and we will be staying up late just to catch the keynote by Steve Jobs. The keynote will start at 10am PDT which means it will be 1am on Tuesday (8 Jun) morning.

LIVE chat with us!

We will be doing this for the first time – having a live chat session right here at our site where you can chat with fellow Singapore Apple fans while the keynote session is in progress! Do come to http://iheartapple.org/live and join us as we provide live updates and have a chat! We’ll definitely be there…with our chips and Coke!

We have compiled a list of websites that will be providing live updates to the Steve-note for you to follow tomorrow night. If there are any live audio/video streams available, we will let you know via Twitter and the Apple Singapore Facebook page.

WWDC – June 7

0 Comments/ in News / by Jimmy Liew
29 April, 2010

Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference this year will be held from June 7 to 11 at San Francisco’s Moscone West. As the image above shows, the focus will be on iPhone OS 4 and iPhone apps development. With iPad already out in the market, this WWDC will have its first iPad development sessions and hands-on working labs for iPhone® OS 4, as well as Mac OS® X core technology labs.

As mentioned by John Gruber – the focus will be on the iPhone OS, less on the Mac:

The focus is heavily iPhone OS centric. There are some Mac OS X developer sessions and labs, but not many. (Translation: Mac OS X 10.7 is not going to be announced this year.) The IT track appears to be gone. Looking at the session list, one could argue that this year’s WWDC is an iPhone OS developers conference, not an Apple developers conference. Look no further than this year’s Apple Design Awards, which will only honor iPhone and iPad apps — no category for Mac apps.

With the background of the legal wranglings over the stolen-iPhone going on, the possibility of the announcement of the new iPhone is unclear as there wasn’t an announcement of the expected keynote address by Steve Jobs, but we can still hope. Let us know if you’re going!

WWDC 09 Keynote with Phil

14 May, 2009

Apple posted a note to announce the keynote address at the WWDC 2009. Previously done by Steve Jobs, the keynote address on 8 June 2009 10am (1am SG Time – 9 June) will be delivered by Phil Schiller.

CUPERTINO, California–May 13, 2009–Apple® will kick off its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote address on Monday, June 8 at 10:00 a.m. A team of Apple executives, led by Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, will deliver the keynote. WWDC will offer in-depth sessions on both iPhone™ OS 3.0, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, and Mac OS® X Snow Leopard™, an even more powerful and refined version of the world’s best desktop operating system and the foundation for future Mac® innovation.

Again no more Steve Jobs but that’s probably how things will be moving forward. Looks like he will just appear at Apple’s own Special Events where the crowd is smaller but that’s not to say he won’t be there.

So what will you want Phil to announce?
